Here's one for our American brothers:-  Bush's America = economy in recession, retail down, 4th biggest US bank goes bankrupt, (as does Merril Lynch, Bear Stone, Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae), car industry looses billions!  OK!  You could say that's just bad luck! 

Now let's look at Sarah Palin = believes god writes US foreign policy (!), is a creationist (!), is anti abortion and she hates Gays!  Now, is she American, or is she an Iranian fundamentalist Muslim?  The difference?  Shade of lipstick!!!  It would be so funny, if it wasn't so serious!

Nor do the Canadians agree with the yanks, it's under their territory after all!  Canadian oil does not = American spoils! xxx

Greetigs from the UK, reading you comments made me laugh but it is tragic news from the US about the bank going bust in turn making things worse for all the workers loosing their livleyhood inturn putting more pressure on them to pay the mortgages. I have no idea what the solution is or will be thought of by the people that run our countries but I am sure glad it is not me that is in charge.
